Dear Friends and Family,
Seems like just the other day folks we were determining who would be heading the Executive Branch of our nation. Then Election Day whizzed by Americans made their choice, and Donald Trump was re-elected President. The Holidays followed fast behind. Before you knew it we were celebrating the New Year and ushering in 2025. Katrina’s Dream partnered with ERA Action and held AI, Automation, Amazon Labor Unions, and the Equal Rights Amendment at the 69th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women / Beijing Platform 30+ where we pulled a hodgepodge of boots on the ground activists, organizers, scholars, and clergy together. We learnt a thing or two and folks spoke from the heart. From that groundbreaking panel where Women’s Rights Activists and Labor Worker Organizers came together finding common ground, Phase Two came into fruition.
Before I write another word, I am deeply moved by Lisa’s dedication to her principles and while we do not agree on all matters, her ability to see the big picture is inspiring.

And thank you, each and everyone, for your support over these many years. Katrina’s Dream is fast approaching its 20th Anniversary (this story speaks volumes) and the 10th Anniversary of my pilgrimage this coming August 26, 2025 and I have a huge ask of you.
Phase Two
- Firming up meeting with both Senator Murkowski and Senator Schumer to fine tune a plan of action to pass Murkowski’s bill SJ Res 38 which calls for the establishment of the ratification of the ERA.
- Launched the first series of meeting requests with US Senators calling on their support for the Equal Rights Amendment to defend, to protect, to empower women, starting with Senator Susan Collins, who is also a supporter of Women’s Rights. (I have a soft spot for Maine, in particular Manset, the birthplace of our ministry Katrina’s Dream.)
- Utilizing 21st century technology which is rapidly becoming fully integrated in our daily lives We will be eblasting updates, targeting specific senators to contact
